Ebony E. Chinn was born and raised in New Jersey. She studied Anthropology and African American Studies at Temple University, where she became a McNair scholar. She has participated in the Callaloo Creative Writing Workshop held at Brown University. She is currently an Assistant Editor for BrickHouse Books and has work forthcoming in H_NGM_N.
